SR code

In order to sew a QR code, I cut two black and two white button-down shirts and tried to think of the perfect word to appear, when the code is scanned. I like the interaction with the viewer and the chance of opening a second dimension to get involved in the pattern of the code and to speak with it. QR code is an initialism for „quick response code“ and I wanted to lead the simplification, wich is the purpose of a QR code, ad absurdum by responding very slowly and inefficient. The message of using business shirts and a technical code is to dignify wonderful technical inventions of man and on the same time to invite the viewer to remember the quality of handmade and slowly performed hand movements. Where are the limits of efficiency, speed and avoiding the incommodious? When do we overtake ourselves? I want to show our dependency of technology.
